Feeding Champaign County Food Summit

What is the Food Summit?

The Feeding Champaign County Food Summit is an annual gathering that brings together community members, organizations, and leaders working in food access and security. This summit aims to deepen the understanding of Champaign County's food system by examining what is effective, identifying gaps, and discussing areas that require additional support. Participants collaborate to develop strategies that address barriers to equitable food access and improve food security across the county.

Hosted by a coalition of organizations, including Healthy Champaign County, Sola Gratia Farm, the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District, Common Ground Food Co-op, U of I Extension, OSF Healthcare, and The Land Connection, the event promises an engaging platform for education, innovation, and actionable planning to create a stronger, more accessible food system for everyone in the community.
